It starts funny: you won't always have a calculator with you, eat your carrots and you'll see in the dark, eat your crusts and your hair will go curly. Then it gets honest. Hard work doesn't guarantee recognition, loyalty or security. Once you've learned a lesson, you'll still struggle with it — knowing something and living it are two different stages of growth. There's a way, not the way, and different doesn't mean wrong. Money buys freedom, not happiness. Nobody, at any age, actually knows what they're doing. And being told you're "too much" might just mean you're in the wrong space, not that you need to make yourself smaller.
