About Amy Parkes
With 15 years of experience as an educator, my journey began as a teaching assistant, nurturing a passion for guiding young minds. I have spent the last three years teaching, continually striving to ensure each pupil, regardless of background or level of need, leaves my classroom better than when they arrived. While pursuing my degree, I balanced the rewarding challenges of motherhood, deepening my empathy and understanding for the diverse needs of students. I am enthusiastic about harnessing technology to enhance the learning experience and believe in looking after the whole child by prioritizing mental health and wellbeing. My teaching philosophy centres on encouraging pupils to become critical thinkers and explorers of knowledge, fostering curiosity and resilience. Every day, I aim to create an inclusive, supportive environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential.
