About Christina Cardenas
Christina Cardenas is a passionate educator and creative who’s returning to the classroom as a middle school art teacher, serving students in grades 6 through 8. With over a decade of experience in education—including 9 years as a classroom teacher and 3 years as an Academic Technology Coach—Christina brings a unique blend of instructional expertise and artistic energy to her teaching.She’s especially passionate about choice-based art education, designing innovative learning experiences, and helping students discover their voice and creative confidence. Christina is always exploring new ways to build a growth mindset, both in her students and in herself, and she’s curious about the evolving role of AI in education and the world beyond.When Christina is not teaching, she enjoys way to many hobbies and side-adventures like: creative projects, gardening with her husband, volunteering in her community, visiting local and State Parks, hanging out with her two crazy cats, and much more.
